Hello! 👋🏻 I'm Chris.

I'm a staff software engineer at Fastly.

Lately, I spend a lot of time building software for the web … and also deriving impish glee from doing novel things with TypeScript's type system.

Over the last decade, I've been fortunate to work across many industries, building software with a diverse set of tools and platforms. In a life before that, I was even an indie Mac developer.

I care deeply about the abstractions I build: how they shape the code that gets written on top of them, how they perform, and, most importantly, how they augment the humans who work with them. Software isn't just instructions for machines — it's a medium for thought and collaboration.
